Rainy Day :(

Every time i want to use my new bag...it has to rain!! Why???

I guess my baby will have to stay in her box for now .. so sad :(

Rock Candy

I've been buying rock candy to stir my coffee and hot tea for a while and i love it!! I think it's really really neat!! Only that it's kinda hard to find and not cheap (which i think that's why most places don't carry them) So i figure, why can't i make it?? It should be easier than trying to find it...and then i'd have to buy in bulk to stock them up. Google came to rescue me and help me with this project. I found the recipe....it doesn't sound too bad either, it's just take couple days.

So my project begins........im growing my own rock sugar!!! First thing first, I made a very thick sugar syrup...i added couple tablespoon of vanilla extract because i want my rock sugar to be very flavorful. I poured the syrup in a glass and put a skewer in the middle...i use a cloths pin to hold the skewer in place. In 3 days, it should be ready....im so excited!! And if it turns out perfect, i'll be creative to put different flavors and colors in my next batch.

Cream cheese...i want you!!

Somehow i really really crave for raisin cinnamon bagel with bacon & scallion cream cheese. Too bad there's not a single place around here serving that combination to help with my crave!! So i decided that I will make them myself tomorrow. I wish i can start working on it now but it's a little too late...it's like 1am already, probably not the best idea to be eating bagels with lots and lots of cream cheese right now.

Since i will be making those anyway, i might as well just cook up some other flavors as well. Im thinking stawberry....what else???

DC for the weekend

been super busy with too many things...so i kinda forgot all about you, but not anymore (at least, i'll try not to...ieieie)

well, now im in DC for a weekend with my hubby :D his dad was here for dinner with us and guess where we went to eat???? Bon Chon Chicken!!!!!!!!!!! The fried chicken is amazing as always....it's not even that long to wait for our food even though we didn't order it over the phone like we suppose to!!

Sheilla's dessert was as good. I love the Bubble tea with crepe cake!! Now, i found my next project....crepe cake!!
